Grammatrain is a post-grunge rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in the mid-1990s. The band's sound was heavily influenced by iconic groups such as Soundgarden, Nirvana, Metallica, Pearl Jam, and Led Zeppelin, yet it maintained a distinctive tone that set them apart, even among bands marketed to Christians.

Grammatrain's early discography includes a self-titled demo tape released in 1994, followed by a CD featuring mostly live acoustic performances in 1995.
