Manic Street Preachers - She Is Suffering
From The Holy Bible
(Music Bradfield/Moore, lyrics James/Wire)
Guitarists - James Dean Bradfield (lead, Les Paul Custom with hi gain distortion,
in treble position for the solo), Richey James (rhythm, I think it's a tele but
I can't be sure.)
INTRO/VERSE a fairly simple pattern of going up and down the chords. The A/Am
bit can be done in open position (X02220/X02210) if you feel more comfortable
with that.
It is lightly palm muted, but you don't really have to do that.

G B Em
She is suffering

You exist within her shadow
Those make up pretty much the whole song.
SOLO, this bit's pretty odd to be honest, and this is just an interpretation
that sounds similar to me. I'm not really one to play the exact solo, but this
is pretty much what I do. The bends are up about half a semitone, not enough
to go to the next fret. What I do is the first bit as it's written here,
then mainly impro the next bit on those notes and a few others from
the Em pentatonic. End on that high E though.

Let the last note of the solo ring, as it then goes into the verse, where this
or something like it is played over the other guitar.

Enjoy! Great song from a good album that I picked up last week. I still
prefer Generation Terrorists though.
